DREW BLACKSTONE 44x |
|
|
Drew has shown a ton of improvement since the beginning of this season. He has started hitting more jumps and running much faster to compete with the kids that have more racing experience. His confidence has skyrocketed and many people have commented on his improvements.
Drew has bounced back from his broken collar bone but he has lost shoulder strength from being in a sling for almost a month and not using his shoulder. He is looking forward to being able to ride 100%, He is getting as much seat time as possible to get his strength back and and sharpen the skills he lost from not riding for a month.
Drew has been back to form as he took 2nd in both Holeshots at the NEATV Race at Capeway and finished 2nd overall beating some very capeable riders. Drew followed that up with a win in the 0-90 class at the Skowhegan Sportsman Club riding his 70cc in the 90 class against some of the better riders from Maine that don't race at the NEATV Level.

Drew Primarily races regionally in the New England ATV
series but when we can fit it in the schedule he will be racing at the RMR QuadX
series and locally in Maine at Eaton Mountain and the Skowhegan Sportsman's
Club. Yes he races a 70 and a 90 but they are not your ordinary backyard quads. He races his 70 against 90's locally here in Maine and beats them on a regular basis and he is just learning to run it hard against the kids at NEATV. A Special Thanks Goes to Gary from G-Force Powersports and G-Force Racing, He makes sure that we have everything we need to keep the Quads in Great Shape!!. Drew is proud to be part of DRRNation.com.
2007 Season Drew finished his first full season of racing NEATV with a 4th place in the 50 Limited Class and an 8th Place in the 70 Limited Class! Congratulations Drew!! With only racing 3 RMR races Drew got a 5th place in the 70 Modified class! And with racing only half of the races at Eaton Moutain MX he got the most wins in the 4-7 0-90cc class and got a 5th over all! We have been able to build Drew a New DRX 70 quad that is a beast. Drew has spent the last several races getting used to the new power that he will need to compete with the fastest kids in the 70 class at the NEATV level as well as the National level.
